Line-by-line feedback •  All 3 UCAS questions •  48-hour turnaround •  From £20 per review

Know Exactly What to Change — and Why

A personal statement review should give you more than corrected grammar or a few general comments.

We work directly through your draft, highlighting where your reflection needs more depth, where wording can be tightened and where your experiences could be communicated more effectively.

Line-by-Line Comments

Detailed comments throughout your statement so you can see exactly where changes are needed.

Medicine-Specific Feedback

Feedback focused on your motivation, reflection, experiences and understanding of medicine — not generic proofreading.

Clear Priorities

Alongside your detailed comments, we identify the most important areas to improve for your next draft.

What We Review

Every review considers both the quality of your individual answers and how effectively the statement works as a whole.

Motivation for Medicine

Does your answer clearly communicate why medicine appeals to you, supported by meaningful experiences rather than generic claims?

Structure & Repetition

Are your strongest examples placed effectively across the three questions without unnecessarily repeating the same ideas?

Reflection & Work Experience

Are you explaining what you learnt from your experiences rather than simply describing what you did?

Clarity & Character Count

Could sentences be made sharper, clearer or more concise while protecting your strongest content?

Academic Preparation

Do your academic interests and experiences demonstrate genuine preparation for studying medicine?

Grammar & Expression

We identify awkward phrasing, punctuation and grammatical issues so your final answers read clearly and professionally.

Reviewed for the Current UCAS Personal Statement Format

We review each of the three UCAS questions individually, while also checking that your answers work together, use your strongest experiences effectively and avoid unnecessary repetition.

Question 1

Why do you want to study this course or subject?

This is where you demonstrate a genuine and specific motivation for medicine. We look at the experiences that shaped your interest and whether you explain why medicine specifically, rather than relying on generic statements.

We analyse: your motivation, personal experiences, understanding of medicine and how convincingly you explain why you want to

become a doctor.

Question 2

How have your qualifications and studies helped you prepare?

This is your opportunity to demonstrate academic preparation and intellectual curiosity. This could include A-level subjects, an EPQ, research projects, essay competitions, Olympiads, wider reading, MOOCs or other relevant academic activities.

We analyse: how effectively you reflect on these experiences, what you learnt from them and how clearly you connect your academic interests and skills to studying medicine.

Question 3

What else have you done to prepare outside education?

Here you can draw on work experience, volunteering, employment, caring responsibilities and extracurricular activities — but simply listing them is not enough.

We analyse: the depth of your reflection, what each experience taught you, the skills you developed and how they strengthened your understanding of medicine and the role of a doctor.

One statement, three answers. We also check the overall balance, repetition and whether your strongest experiences are being used in the most effective question.

Who Reviews Your Medicine Personal Statement?

Your personal statement is reviewed by Vaibhav Sehgal, Founder of FutureGen Tuition and a current medical student in London.

Having successfully gone through the medicine application process himself, Vaibhav understands how difficult it can be to turn academics, work experience, volunteering and genuine motivation into a concise personal statement.

His feedback focuses particularly on the areas medicine applicants often struggle with most — reflection, relevance, clarity and explaining what an experience actually taught you about medicine.

Most importantly, the aim is not to rewrite your application for you.

Your final statement should still sound like you.
